Description
The "USS SAN PABLO" was built by Vaughn & Jung Engineering Ltd. of Hong Kong for the Motion picture "The Sand Pebbles". She then was employed by a U.S. construction company repairing bridges behind the battle zones in Vietnam, as a floating dormitory. In the early 1970's she was renamed NOLA D by Delta Exploration in Indonesia, and was sadly scrapped in Singapore in 1975.
